• Hiba (黃檜): Dense and resilient with a firm, crisp rebound — for players who want a solid, responsive feel.
• Sonido (日朴): Lighter ho wood with a softer, cushioned touch — easy on the hands during long sessions.
• Hinoki (日檜): Classic cypress — balanced weight and a smooth, warm response with a fine, straight grain.
