Common Questions
Standard or Pro — what's the real difference?
Only the metal striking plate. Pro has the real arcade iron-plate for authentic rebound; Standard skips it for a quieter, cheaper build. Sensors, electronics and platform versions are the same.
Can I add more platforms later?
Yes. You can buy a spare E-Box or converter any time — PC/NS E-Box, iTAIKO E-Box, PS5 converter (Brook Wingman P5) or PS4/3 converter — no need to rebuy the whole drum.
Are drumsticks included?
Yes — a free pair of our “THE ONE” maibachi comes with every drum.

What's an E-Box, and do I need one? Every ZhongTaiko ships with an E-Box. The PC NS version plays on PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS, MIDI, PS3 and arcade I/O (USIO) — nothing else needed. The PC NS PS4-5 version also includes a Brook Wingman P5 adapter for PS4 / PS5. The iTAIKO version plays PC, Switch, PS3 / PS4 and arcade USIO (no iOS / MIDI). The Wingman P5 is not included with the PC NS or iTAIKO versions — you can add it later from the E-Box page. See the E-Box →
